HOW TO INSTALL YOUR ‘METAMASK’ ETHEREUM WALLET WITH TREZOR, LEDGER?
STEP 1: Open Browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge), Go To ‘https://metamask.io/’, Then Click ‘Download Now’.
STEP 2: Click ‘Install Metamask For Chrome’. Browser Options (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge).
STEP 3: Click ‘Add To Chrome’.
STEP 4: Click ‘ Add Extension’. Wait for it to Download and Install.
STEP 5: Click ‘Get Started’.
STEP 6: Click ‘Create A Wallet’. This will Create a New Wallet and SEED phrase.
STEP 7: Click ‘I Agree’ or ‘No Thanks’. Suggest Clicking ‘No Thanks’ to not share data.
STEP 8: Create Your Wallet’s Password. Type in a new strong Password (minimum 8 Characters) and Confirm Password, then Tick the Box (“I have read and agree to the Terms of Use”), then Click ‘Create’.
STEP 9: Click the ‘Click Here to Reveal Secret Words’ (Backup Phrase). These 12 words allow you to backup and restore your account.
STEP 10: Write these 12 words (your backup phrase) on a piece of paper (and put in a very safe place). Or take a photo and store it in a place that nobody will have access to except you. Then Click ‘Next’.
CAUTION:
- DO NOT SHOW THIS BACKUP PHRASE TO ANYONE ELSE TO PROTECT YOUR FUNDS.
- DO NOT LOSE YOUR BACKUP PHRASE (USED FOR WALLET RECOVERY) FOR YOUR METAMASK WALLET. FUNDS WILL BE LOST.
STEP 11: Confirm your secret backup phrase. Use the copy of your backup phrase to complete this confirmation. Click each word below the empty box in the right backup phrase order to confirm it is correct for your new wallet setup.
STEP 12: Click ‘Confirm’.
STEP 13: Congratulations! Now Click ‘All Done’.
STEP 14: Click the ‘X’ to close the ‘Start Swapping’ window.
STEP 15: Welcome to Your new Metamask wallet and Ethereum address (use this for Deposits) This wallet holds Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum tokens (most popular type is the ERC20 standard tokens). You can do various types of transfers including Buy, Send and Swap, and Add ethereum tokens.
